The Winnebago Tribal Health Department, is sponsoring a Great American Smokeout for their community on Tuesday December 8th, 2009. The challenge is to start quitting by giving up smoking for 24 hours. Quitters are encouraged to have a sponsor to help them out. A Tobacco Free Quit kit will be given out to the first 100 participants. To reward those who make it for 24 hours, and their sponsors, there will be a breakfast along with t-shirt and duffel bag give-aways on December 9th from 8-10am at the IHS Hospital.
