About GoodHealthTV®
GoodHealthTV® is a subscription based health information network focused on raising health literacy rates through culturally competent and entertaining programming.
The programming is played on large screen monitors placed in hospital and clinic waiting areas and community commons.
GoodHealthTV® programming, community information, and critical announcement updates are made from the GoodHealthTV® information center located at KAT Communications, a national leader in culturally competent Native American outreach.
Community level information connecting people to programs available in their communities is a critical part of GoodHealthTV's® success.
Survey Results
Results of a viewer survey conducted in 18 facilities showed that:
- 79% of participants watched GoodHealthTV® while they waited for services
- 71% reported they had learned something new
- 61% were encouraged to seek more information
